Sheree Weller

Founder & CEO, Courageous Victors

Sheree Weller is a passionate advocate, ordained minister, and survivor turned victor - dedicated to empowering adult survivors of incest. As the Founder and CEO of Courageous Victors, she is on a mission to break the cycle of abuse and transform pain into a beacon of hope.

A native Texan, Sheree was born in Beeville and raised in the Dallas Metroplex. As a military spouse of 29 years, she lived across the country, gaining diverse experiences that shaped her heart for service. She and her husband have raised three wonderful children and are proud grandparents of three.

Sheree holds a Bachelor’s degree in Religion from Wayland Baptist University (2006) and a Master’s degree in Christian Ministries from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary (2014). Her spiritual leadership journey includes serving as a Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, and Author of Christian devotionals since 2009. In 2013, she was ordained and licensed as a minister, solidifying her commitment to serving others through faith.

With a passion for education, she taught Elementary Education in Christian Schools and provided Christian education and leadership through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Additionally, as a Family Readiness Group Leader, she was honored by Secretary of Defense Robert Gates for her exceptional leadership in supporting military families.

Her passion for pastoral care led her to complete a Clinical Pastoral Education residency at Littleton Hospital in Denver (2016) before returning to Texas in 2018. She went on to serve as a Chaplain with Baylor Scott & White, providing emotional and spiritual support to patients, staff, and families in multiple hospitals, including during the COVID-19 crisis. Additionally, she has served as one of the first female Chaplains for the Flower Mound Fire Department, continuing her dedication to service and community.

Sheree is also the Founder and CEO of Courageous Victors, a nonprofit organization with a steadfast commitment to empowering adult survivors of incest. The organization’s mission revolves around creating a secure and inclusive environment where survivors can express their experiences without fear of judgment. In Courageous Victors’ supportive group settings, participants are allowed the opportunity to share their stories and connect with peers who understand their struggles.

This interactive and compassionate atmosphere is crucial for catalyzing a transformative journey, allowing individuals to redefine their self-identity from victims to victors. Through this process, they come to realize that they are not alone in their suffering, not to blame for what has happened to them, and not defined by their past experiences, thereby fostering a renewed sense of self-worth and intrinsic value.

But beyond her professional achievements, Sheree is a survivor. Through her personal healing journey, she discovered her identity and reclaimed her strength, realizing she was no longer a victim—she was a victor. Her work through Courageous Victors ensures that others can embark on the same transformative path toward healing, freedom, and renewed purpose.

Sheree believes in the power of God’s love, the strength of community, and the resilience of the human spirit. She is committed to creating safe spaces for survivors to heal, grow, and reclaim their lives. Known lovingly as the "Happy Chappy," she continues to spread light, encouragement, and faith wherever she goes.
